Shohin Ficus microcarpa 'goldencoin'

I did not think that this tree had any potential but it turned out to be a great lesson in patience. The tree was originally about 10 inches in height but was in poor condition and had not been styled properly. My solution was to cut it down to a 3 inch stump and start all over. After 2 years of pruning and wiring it is currently exactly 5 inches (12.7 centimeters) in height. I just recently repotted it into the container that you see.

Hi Lazaro
I think that this is a good tree for shohin in the future. The tree have a good trunk and good ramification. May be when you defoliate the tree could see the structure of the tree. The tall of the tree is excellent. May be a oval pot more shallow is better for the tree. When you have a photo with the tree defoliated, please post.

Beautiful shohin Lazaro.
I really love it, but I think the pot is too deep but you can change when you want and of course if you want.
Best regards and please keep posting.
