un ficus italiano...
hola a todos.
This is one of my fig. I've taken a rather tall Ficus microcarpa, shortened the long trunks, repotted it, and allowed new growth to erupt out of the bare stems. My goal is creating a rainforest style Ficus with aerial roots.
1) en 2007, The original tree
2) Leaves removed and repotted.
3) The original tree with X's showing the cut points
4) Shortened, view one
5) Shortened, view two
6) Shortened, view three
6 ) New buds springing out which will be the future of my fig
tree

Re: un ficus italiano...
in the future I want improve nebari, eliminating some aerial roots and stimulating the creation of new aerial roots with sphagnum moss.
